Enabling this feature ensures that ThreatFire can actively monitor your system for signs of suspicious behavior and potential attacks, providing you with its best protection against new and unknown threats. Turning it off may potentially expose your system to threats in the form of viruses, worms, spyware and other malicious programs.

WARNING!Please use extreme caution when changing the default actions. If you elect to automatically allow all suspected or known threats your overall protection will be greatly reduced. Likewise, if you automatically quarantine all suspected threats there is a possibility that legitimate programs may be affected (false positives).
These default alert actions only apply to ThreatFireÆs regular program alerts. Alerts for any custom rules you create through Advanced Tools will always prompt you to select the appropriate action.
Check for Updates
With this option enabled, ThreatFire will automatically check for software updates available for download on the ThreatFire servers.

Participating in the Secure Community is win-win: you help identify new threats and provide better protection to all other ThreatFire users, and in turn, other members do the same for you. Be certain you and all ThreatFire users receive the most up-to-date protection so your PC stays as secure as possible.
This immediate feedback provides our threat researchers with valuable information on potentially dangerous new threats so that your ThreatFire protection can be continually enhanced. All information gathered as a result of your participation with the ThreatFire Community will be used consistent with our End User License Agreement and strictly in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
